Instinct Washington D.C. is brought to you by Brian Burton & Sarah Fraser, co-founders of Instinct Dog Training, and by Ciera Moberg, an experienced behavior consultant living in Washington D.C., who was originally part of our Instinct Portland team. Brian, Sarah, and Ciera have already helped thousands of dogs and owners navigate through behavior issues big & small. We can’t wait to help you and your dog do the same.
Learn more about our team and our helper dogs below. And, if you haven’t already, pop back to our main site and take a few minutes to learn about our revolutionary Nature-Driven Nurture™ approach to dog parenting.
We are an educated, experienced team of certified behavior professionals that uses behavioral science to create lasting, positive behavior change at both ends of the leash. We are active members of international animal behavior organizations, we volunteer our time with rescue groups and shelters, and we host educational workshops for dog owners and trainers.
Most importantly, we love helping Washington D.C. dogs and humans with behavior challenges large and small.
We are currently scouting the perfect location for our brick-and-mortar facility that will allow us to offer positive reinforcement Board & Train camps, boarding, and daycare programs for dogs of all ages and temperaments. Our target open date is Winter 2023/2024. Until then, we will continue to provide you with unparalleled coaching and support through private in-home and virtual coaching, Home School programs, and Puppy Raising camps.
Our human team is pretty great, but our Instinct D.C. Helper Dogs are the real stars. These special dogs support our trainers and serve as skillful canine coaches to the dogs & puppies with whom we work.
