As urban behavior professionals, we have spent the past decade+ helping thousands of NYC dogs and humans co-exist together, peacefully and happily, in our challenging urban environment. Located in vibrant East Harlem, our 6000 sqft indoor/outdoor facility is like no other in New York City. It was designed by canine scientists to provide an optimal learning environment and protect the behavioral health of dogs in our care.
We are a purpose-driven team of certified behavior professionals that uses behavioral science to create lasting, positive behavior change at both ends of the leash. We travel nationally and internationally to host educational workshops and seminars; lecture at conferences and universities; and regularly publish articles and participate in media interviews about canine behavior and welfare. We value collaboration, teamwork, inclusivity, and a growth-mindset.
Our human team is pretty amazing, but we’d be lost without our incredible Instinct East Harlem Helper Dogs who accompany us to work each day and provide invaluable assistance in the teaching of other dogs.
